It involves implementation of the project activities extending from phytochemistry studies, bioactivity studies, knowledge enhancement and methods development for screening of phytoproducts. Furthermore the project aims at building the community of practices in the area of natural products from within and outside the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Participants, Organization and Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project is implemented by researchers from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smcose.sua.ac.tz\/chemistryphysics\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Department of Chemistry and Physics<\/a> at, Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro, Tanzania and <a href=\"https:\/\/pharmacy.ku.dk\">The Copenhagen University<\/a>. This work is supported by the AESA RISE Postdoctoral Fellowship (ARDF) implemented by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aasciences.ac.ke\">African Academy of Sciences (AAS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project plan <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The duration of the project is 32 months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Collaborators \/ Partnership <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project management has developed partnership with different partners including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.up.ac.za\/chemistry\">University of Pretoria Department of Chemistry<\/a>, Tanzania Small and medium Scale Development Organization (SIDO), Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology and Department of Pharmacy, University of Copenhagen.
