\"eliapenda\"<\/a>Dr. Eliapenda Elisante Mariki<\/strong> serves as a Senior Lecturer specializing in Environmental Sciences within the Department of Physics and Chemistry, situated in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences at Sokoine University of Agriculture. His research has primarily revolved around evaluating the behavior of contaminants in the environment, particularly in subsurface settings. Additionally, he focuses on the development and optimization of analytical methods for the detection of pollutants in environmental samples. Dr. Eliapenda has been involved in supervising postgraduate (Masters and PhD) students conducting their research in Environmental Chemistry.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Currently, Dr. Eliapenda holds the position of overseeing the Sokoine University of Agriculture Staff Housing and Students\u2019 Accommodation Bureau (SUAHAB). In the past, he held the roles of Secretary General for the Sokoine University of Agriculture Academic Staff Association (SUASA), followed by assuming the presidency of the Academic Staff Association of Public Universities and Colleges of Tanzania (ASAPUCT). Furthermore, was a board member of the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBC).<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Dr. Eliapenda possess a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the Nelson Mandela African Institutions of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), along with a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences. His foundational academic achievement includes a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Biology and Chemistry, coupled with an education component (BSc. Ed), earned from the University of Dar es Salaam.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
