These diploma graduates are registry, records and archive managers with internationally acceptable practice and professional conduct, and excellent ICT skills to enhance access and archiving of information in the contemporary world. The programme is available in the College of Natural and Applied Science (CoNAS) under the Department of Informatics and Information Technology (DIIT). It is delivered on a full-time basis for a minimum duration of 2 years.<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"justify\"><span id=\"Expected_Learning_Outcomes\"><span style=\"color: #008000\">Expected Learning Outcomes<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>By the end of the programme, students should be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate understanding of key concepts, principles, and theories in records, archives and information management<\/li>\n<li>Be able to manage registries, records centres and archival institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to use relevant ICTs to manage records and archives<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Join and learn to identify, collect and manage the items &amp; components for knowledge centres.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span id=\"Career_Opportunities\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #008000\">Career Opportunities<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Graduates of this diploma programme work as records managers, knowledge managers, science communicators, archivists, librarians and information managers. They will also work as information brokers, content writers and editors, trainers in the information science field, researchers in the field and social media analysts. Prospective employees include libraries, archives, records centres, registries, news houses, publishers and other content developers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 align=\"justify\"><span serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">A-Level Certificate with at least one Principal Pass in one of the following Subjects: Mathematics\/ Physics\/ Bi- ology\/ Chemistry\/ Science and Practice of Agriculture\/ Geography\/ Economics, Commerce\/ History\/ English\/ French and Kiswahili OR Certificate in Records\/ Office Management or relevant disciplines with a minimum of Second Class and
