Prof. Esron Karimuribo, Director of Postgraduate, Research, and Consultancy, officiated the project&#8217;s launch, emphasizing its importance in assisting the Ministry of Agriculture in achieving accurate crop yield estimation and thus contributing to the National Food Security agenda.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-19-at-21.17.24.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"992\" height=\"542\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-19-at-21.17.24.jpeg 992w, https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-19-at-21.17.24-300x164.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-19-at-21.17.24-768x420.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 992px) 100vw, 992px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Over 30 people attended the project kick-off workshop, including project team members (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/a-a-barakabitze\">Dr. Alcardo A. Barakabitze<\/a> (PI), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/neema-nicodemus\">Dr. Neema N. Lyimo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/michael-p-j-mahenge\">Dr. Michael P. J. Mahenge<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soet.sua.ac.tz\/dr-kadeghes-profile\/\">Dr. Kadeghe G. Fue<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conas.sua.ac.tz\/informatics\/j-p-telemala\">Dr. Joseph P.
