PROJECT TEAM AND RESEARCHERS

GRILI project is implemented by a team of thirteen (13) experts from Five (5) Universities and two (2) research institutions from Tanzania and Denmark. The Project looks into collaborating with national organs such as the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment through Small and medium Scale Industries (SIDO) to enhance Public-Private Partnership for industrialization, Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) and the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MoHCDEC) through Tanzania Food and Drug Authority (TFDA) to contribute quality and safety of herbal products.

Tanzania Industrial Research Development Organization (TIRDO) is prospected to be among the major players in dissemination of innovations from the project.  The project is building GRPs research capacity to four PhD researchers, 2 Msc students and 1 post-doctorate researcher.
