We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nkuba Nyerere Mbeho and Dr. Emmanuel Deogratias Mbita from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics has been promoted from the position of Lecturers to Senior Lecturers as it was announced by the university management that;
“On behalf of Sokoine University of Agriculture Council, I would like to inform you that, on 27th September, 2023 the Council at its 173rd meeting approved promotions of 2 members of the academic staff from the rank of Associate Professor to Professor; 1 member from Associate Research Professor to Research Professor and 7 members from Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor. Earlier, on 19th September, 2023 the Appointment and Human Resource Management Committee, approved promotions of 20 academicians from lecturers to senior lecturers.
