In the third quarter of 2023, the website of the Department of Informatics and Information Technology (DIIT) in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CoNAS) at SUA has consistently held the second position in the category of “Best Academic Department Website Ranking”. The department website was ranked seventh in the SUA’s “Overall Website Ranking” out of 67 competing units, which included colleges, directorates, schools, departments, and centers. The department website has held the same rank for the second time in a row in 2023.
The DIIT was ranked sixth in the category of “Best Units in Publication Rankings,” with publications from its staff receiving over 220 citations in three months (June-August). This demonstrates the departments’ serious commitment to research.
